2010 Pesticide Database - Pesticides for Use on Pecan

This pesticide information is provided as an initial reference for products "labeled" for pecans, but not necessarily recommended. The pesticide applicator must read and follow all current label directions for the specific pesticide being used. The label is the governing document. No endorsement is intended for products mentioned, nor is criticism meant for products not included. The authors assume no liability resulting from the use of this information.

HOW TO SEARCH:
Use one of the options below to search for pesticide information. A list of pesticides matching your criteria will open (in some cases there may be only one product).Each pesticide product name is has a linke to a detail page. The detail page will give you pertinent label information available for that pesticide, plus a link to a printable label and manufacturer information. The links to the printable label and manufacturer information is provided by a third party site, CDMS (Crop Data Management Systems).

  • Display all the pesticides in the database. The list is alphabetized by Trade Name, but is sortable on other criteria.
  • Search by chemical name (active ingredient).
  • Search by class/mode of action.

    IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CLASS/MODE OF ACTION: The pesticide classifications below are provided by IRAC (Insecticide Resistance Action Committee). The IRAC Mode of Action (MoA) classification is a guide to the selection of insecticides and acaricides for use in an effective and sustainable insecticide or acaricide resistance management strategy.   • Search for a product OMRI-listed for organic use. (Materials approved for organic use in the U.S. by the Organic Materials Review Institute (www.omri.org)
  • Search for a pest by typing in a name. Type the simplest form of the word (ant instead of fire ant). The results page will display all products labeled to treat the pest with the name you specified, as well as other pecan pests labeled for treatment by that product.
  • Search by manufacturer.
