The commercial rates of zinc for spraying pecan foliage in Texas are 2 pounds of zinc sulfate or 1-1/4 quarts of NZN per 100 gallons of water.

The homeowner should use 2 teaspoons of zinc sulfate or NZN in
one gallon of water.
