Fall Webworm Control
Spot Treat Unsprayed Trees
Because of its webbing, the fall webworm is easily recognized. When the population exceeds one colony per tree, they can be spot treated. Make sure that most of the eggs from the target generation have hatched, by waiting 7 - 10 days after the first webs are found. Then go through the orchard and spray only the area of each tree where the colonies are feeding.
