The following control suggestions, survey methods and action levels have been established for use in orchard monitoring programs. These survey methods and action levels are designed to help growers assess insect populations and decide when sprays should be applied. Factors such as existing crop loads, weather conditions, plant development stages, and expected needs for future pesticide applications, should all be considered when using these action levels.
